Jessica manages company operations and activities with a focus on maximizing profitability while establishing objectives, plans, policies and standards. She assists the company co-founders in guiding the overall direction of Urban Moment by implementing procedures, directing operations and evaluating results.
A performance-driven senior executive, Jessica has more than 18 years of comprehensive development experience spanning both the private and public sectors. She came to Urban Moment Development from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department where she was Infrastructure Director, overseeing real estate services, development and construction for more than 150 public trust sites and 3,000 facilities statewide. Prior to making Texas her home, Mrs. Davisson enjoyed a successful career in Arizona with one of the nation’s largest and most diversified residential developers, Pulte Homes. There, she advanced rapidly through positions in construction, customer relations, land development, training & development, and operations management.

SVP / Corporate Development
Jim defines the strategic direction of the Urbana product and implements strategies to maximize its potential. As the point person for each Urban Moment development, he is also responsible for all equity relationships and investor reporting, ensuring 100% transparency in project performance and management.
Jim is driven to exceed expectations at every turn. He started his career at Schlumberger in Texas where he was put on a management fast track, holding positions as District Manager, Sales Manager and Reservoir Systems Manager. From there, Jim became VP of Sales then President at Application Group (AG), building business relationships with PeopleSoft, Oracle and other tech sector companies. After taking the reins at Market-Touch, a sales and marketing company, he found himself in the World Trade Center on 9/11/01. This watershed moment convinced Jim not only that life was short, but that radical change was coming to the market. With that realization, he hired a new CEO and moved to Tucson where he developed several residential and commercial projects, eventually underpinning his entry into the Austin market.
Jim received his Bioscience Engineering degree from the University of Arizona.
SVP of Development
Zach directs and manages the overall planning, development and execution phases of project design and construction. From concept vision all the way to construction standards enforcement, he is committed to exceeding quality expectations as the architect of the Urbana Home brand.
Zach began his real estate development career more than 15 years ago as a specialist in land acquisition, entitlements and development for OasisTucson Inc. In 2013, he launched a new homebuilding company, Mesquite Homes. As President there, Zach fulfilled a multi-faceted role, handling all aspects of residential development – from site development to product creation to delivery of the finished home. At Urbana, Zach is the author behind the current “Lincoln” design and is actively working on his next creation. He also lends his expertise to Urban Moment in several key project areas, including technical feasibility, contract negotiations and budget management.
Zach earned his Finance degree from the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University.
VP of Development
John oversees all land development activities, spearheading everything from technical feasibility and entitlement through sitework construction. Along the way, he secures development permits, leads negotiations with government agencies and manages engineers and site development contractors to keep projects on time and within budget.
John is a registered civil engineer with more than 24 years of experience in land development, construction, civil engineering, acquisition and entitlement management. Before joining Urban Moment, he held senior management positions at some of the country’s largest volume residential developers, such as KB and Pulte Homes. John’s wealth of experience and strength in building relationships allows him to advance projects and resolve issues in a winning manner for all parties involved.
John earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona and currently serves as the 1st Vice Chair for the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA).
VP of Development
Jimmy handles day-to-day construction activities from bidding through warranty – all while supporting our land acquisition and operational team. A hands-on manager, he makes regular site visits to monitor the quality and progress of construction in an effort to supervise costs, profitability and schedule.
Jimmy joined the Urban Moment development team in January 2020 after serving as VP of Construction for Milestone Community Builders in Central Texas. He began his homebuilding career over 23 years ago shortly after being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. During his enlistment, Jimmy traveled from his small West Texas hometown of Big Spring all the way to Okinawa, Japan. After serving his country, he got his start in the new home construction industry in Austin. Jimmy began as an assistant builder and steadily earned promotions as his experience grew.
Over his extensive time within the industry, Jimmy has garnered a sterling reputation as a dependable builder with vendors throughout Central Texas.
SVP of Asset Management
Kelly Is in charge of all asset management functions at Urban Moment with a focus on executing business plans, dispositions and property financing. In addition to strategic initiatives, he defines operational processes and procedures that maximize asset performance while enabling Urbana to build scale in Austin and enter new markets.
Since beginning his real estate career 13 years ago, Kelly has been engaged in asset management over the last decade. Prior to joining Urban Moment, he was a Director for Greystar Real Estate Partners where he managed a portfolio of over 20 assets located throughout the East Coast. Through the years, Kelly has held numerous senior roles in asset management and capital markets, specializing in student housing, conventional multi-family and active adult portfolios.
Kelly received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Kathy directs and maintains all financial plans, reports and records for Urban Moment as well as accounting practices and tax preparation. Beyond her financial analysis expertise, she fosters impeccable relationships with our banking and insurance partners by upholding meticulous accounting practices with unwavering timeliness.
Kathy has amassed over 30 years of business experience in disciplines ranging from project administration, finance and management to business start-ups. She is especially skilled in creating business systems, establishing relationships and invigorating teams. Kathy began her career with EDS, quickly moving from systems analyst to leadership positions at both Ingram Industries and Nextel Communications. In addition to her role as controller at Urban Moment, she is also the owner of Mesquite Homes, a Tucson residential builder.
Kathy received her BS in Business Administration from California State University and her MA in Education from the University of Arizona. As an accomplished business leader with a profound passion for education, Kathy also dedicates her time guiding future Arizona Alumni through the Wildcat Mentor Society.
Director of Markets and Research
Jaret leverages market research to forecast trends and business conditions. Not only does he identify and analyze acquisition opportunities, he contacts brokers and owners about properties, negotiates with sellers and analyzes the feasibility of projects. Jaret knows that due diligence is crucial to success in real estate development.
Over his more than 15 years of experience in real estate management, Jaret has provided financial and economic advice to both the public and private sectors. From serving as Chief of Staff to the City Manager of Tucson to his work as an independent consultant, he is recognized for his expertise in using land-use planning tools with capital finance principles to deliver cost-effective investment value.
Originally from Boston, Jaret currently resides in Austin. He received his BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and his master’s degree in Public Finance from the University of Arizona.
VP of Acquisitions
Bryan manages land acquisitions and dispositions at Urban Moment. He is in charge of sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution and the entitlements process of development opportunities. By analyzing market data and building local relationships, Bryan also creates go-to-market plans for stabilized assets and defines new market entry strategies.
With nearly 10 years of real estate experience, Bryan came to Urbana after serving as VP of Acquisitions at Amherst Holdings, an institutional single-family real estate private equity investor. There, he was responsible for managing the firm’s $165M retail fund, bringing high-quality, single-family homes to market. Prior to that, Bryan raised and managed his own real estate fund focused on acquiring, restoring and selling distressed single-family, commercial and land properties around the DFW Metroplex. His fund took an early stake in the West 7th district of Fort Worth.
Originally from Dallas, Bryan received his MBA from Duke University and his BBA from TCU.
Bill Campbell (San Francisco)
Bill Campbell has been developing top of the market custom homes in San Francisco’s most coveted neighborhoods for 17 years. He typically handles acquisitions, funding, and entitlement directly while partnering with some of the best designers, builders, and selling agents in the local market. Bill serves a strategic oversight and financing advisory role for Urban Moment’s Los Angeles and Tucson portfolios. Prior to real estate development, Bill founded, grew, and sold two high technology companies. One of which was acquired by ADP where he then sat on the executive committee for six years before shifting to real estate development.
Nick Hertz (Los Angeles)
Nick brings 13 years of experience in West Hollywood real estate development to the company. His expertise resides in the acquisition and sale phases of the development process as well as putting together the perfect team to design and build out multi-family projects in Los Angeles. Nick’s focus on West Hollywood has enabled him to develop the strong political relationships with city staff and council members required to navigate potential entitlement challenges effectively, quickly, and successfully.
